David FisherOver seventeen years, in the appraisal industry employed and executive in marketing, sales, and financial services and equipment valuation.

My initial experience in aircraft machinery valuation occurred in with GE Capital while to evaluate aircraft worldwide. I gained valuable experience in cost and performance comparisons all sorts of equipment from office buildings, machinery, furnishings and aircraft of all types.

At GE Capital (1984 – 1999), my initial assignment was in determining the value and the components of aircraft and equipment. I worked directly with design engineers and customers and coordinating the performance and costs to fit the operational and budget needs of potential buyers and operators. I then moved ), I moved to the Marketing/Sales department where I managed the development of GE Equipment’s first computerized database system. In 1999 I started Western Aviation and worked with various Financial companies in the valuation and sales of aircraft.

In 2010 I purchased Voss Road Storage and was certified in the valuation of furnishings, bulk valuations and still maintained my aviation work where I maintained my aviation USPAP Endorsed SR. Aircraft Appraiser credentials and still sold and acquired aircraft, parts and engines. I tracked business aircraft values for seventeen years and still counting…. appraisals, and residual value forecasts for the company (Western Aviation) and Voss Road Storage, and the largest lending and leasing entities in the world. Over the seventeen year period with working with multiple lending institutions and private sellers, I completed numerous aircraft appraisals on, machinery, engines, equipment, turbo prop and turbo jet aircraft in lieu of financing and leasing transactions worth over $1.900 million. I also represented financial institutions in deliveries to numerous foreign buyers conforming to US, CAC, EASA and CAA regulations.

Since forming Western Valuation Services, LLC (1999), I have completed the requirements and have been accredited as Senior Appraiser by the NAAA and Accredited Senior Appraiser, I adhere to the NAAA Code of Ethics and the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice, (USPAP). I have completed numerous appraisals and diminution of value reports on propeller aircraft, jet aircraft, helicopters and aviation related support equipment for several of the world’s largest finance and leasing companies. I have provided expert testimony in support of my appraisal work. My client list includes CIT, Chase, IBA, Yugo, Bank of America, GATX, Gulfstream, Hawker, Cessna, GE Capital, Public Storage, Ford, Multiple Oil and Gas Companies, and GMAC.
